Hi all.  not alot going on around here, been making some preps for the water lines and such but just about time I can trench it will rain and then I am in the waiting game again for it to dry up..   Dont really want to play in the mud but I might just have too.  Found a old steel hog feeder bin down the road and talked to the guy that owns it and now its mine and going to be my "well house" .  
  The weather the last few days has been hot and humid.  too early for that crap...  really hopn to get the water and sewer pipes put in and the footings trenched soon.  Got to get started on the house!!   The other day I decided to clean out and organize the storage trailer so I could know where everything was and what I still had and what I didn't have anymore.  What a job that turned into lol looked like I was having a huge yard sale.   Got it about 60 %  kinda straightened out.  kinda.  but at least I can get to my tools and stuff now.  I can even get my cutting torch in and out :O)    got in out yesterday and used it to cut the base of the hog feeder off.     I did find out that there is a leak in the roof though :O(   going into town today to borrow a ladder from AJ. and get some sealant to fix it.
  On other things, going to take a weekend off in April and go on  a river float trip with the family,  should be a good time. Really looking forward to just getting away and doing some primitive camping.  so far it looks like   clayton, penny, sis angel and her husband johny, matt, donavaon, jace (sp),  and me.   should be alot of fun.  :O)  hope the weather holds out and is nice for us.
  Going to have to mow the yard soon,  wont take take long.  Tractor, brush hog and about 10 minutes lol   might have to weed it alittle so that will be about another 10 min.    Going to cut some corner posts for the lagoon.  need to get that done soon.  and to fix the fence alittle better across the property, that way I can close the gate when I leave for colo.    anyway, just wanted to say hi to all you readers and friends.  hope everyone is doing great,   be safe  :O)

I hope that eveyone had a nice valintines day,  I hung out with my nephew and his wife for the day and most of the evening.   Thanks for the good time :O)    We had a late breakfast at Ihop then went to walmart, shot over to papa murphys to get a pizza for  later.   while at walmart I splurged and bought another game to play on their xbox.  :O)   yes, I am a gamer  lol  I have been playing since game one, pong, spaced invaders, donkeykong, nitendo, sega ect ect,  these new play stations and xboxs really have some great graphics and realisim.    not really that good at them but I enjoy it and the time I get to spend with family :O)

  Hey all, just wanted to stop bye and say howdy since I have not been posting much on here.  I am still here and working towards getting the house started and I really need to concentrate on putting the well together the rest of the way plus all the water lines and sewer lines.  Just been side tracked for a bit and now I am playing catch up with the money side of things.    Needless to say I have learned many things legally lately..  Its too long of story and I'm not going to say much more for fear of getting myself into more trouble.  Needless to say I AM NOT GUILTY...    The truth will prevail...     And I will be keeping my mouth shut and if I have anything to say to someone in particular, I will have my lawyer tell you...... 
  Anyway,  :O)   I am really enjoying the nice weather we have been having, today was in the higher 60's  I am scared that feb and march might be rough.   Its a bitter sweet deal though, the nice weather is nice but if we dont get a bad freeze then this summer will be a bug filled summer.  Not so much for me, I am still going to colo for the summer again,  this time I hope to find even more gold.  If not then I will just be enjoying the mountains again.  
  Dreamed about cricket the other night and my dad was there too   :O)   made me miss them alot but it was nice to "see them"  even if it was just a dream.

I am just hoping that it will have water because you have to pay regardless if you hit water or not.    Thinking about it, they are like weather people, dont matter if it happens or not you still have a job. 

What I did for new years eve.

  I brought the new year in by getting a tattoo :O)   First one I ever!!  46 years old,  took me awhile lol    It is a memorial for my little traveling buddy Cricket.   The Paw prints are in the same spots on my arm that she would stand on and make indentation impressions of her paws when we would be driving down the road. She would be standing there looking and sniffing out the window and watching the world go by enjoying every minute of it :O)   

       .   I like it allot..   Now I am marked for life.   Never really wanted one, had thought about it before but I don't like needles in any shape or form so I never got one.    It stings, but not near as bad as I thought it would lol  Most likely I will get another one now but it will be for dad.

This is going to be the begging of my work shop and vehicle shed. I had just cut the axle out from under it . Gary picked it up with he track loader while I pulled the axle out from under the trailer. We then picked up the front of it and I cut the dolley assembly from under it and sat it down on some rail road ties. 

Finished for now, will go back later and re level it some more and start building the tin shed over the top and the sides. Will be closing in the west (left) side  and the east side will be left open so I can park the tractor and vehicles in out of the weather.  Now I need to locate some old power poles for the main structure.

This snow moved in the day ofter dropping the trailer down, it must of rained at least 2 inches before it snowed.  Would have been a really big snow storm if it had been cold enough.  Dang it   lol  I was ready to be snowed in for a few days. 

 Was driving to town and saw the snow stuck to the grass and thought it would make a cool picture, if I only had a real camera lol  

Tomorrow I go to town and meet with Terra, she is a great artist and she is going to draw crickets paw prints so they are life size and realistic in appearance so I can then go to the tattoo place and get them tattooed onto my arm where she used to stand and make paw indentations while we drove down the road.  Really excited about getting them, never really thought about getting a tattoo before but you only live once right?
